This morning, Super-boy asked me if he could cook his own eggs and toast for breakfast. Naturally, I said yes! I was cooking quite a few simple meals by eight, so I am sure it’s past time for him to learn to make a few things as well. He has been making toast for a while, but he has never cooked anything on the stove, and to my knowledge has never cracked an egg before.
I wish I would have grabbed the camera a little sooner to catch all the action, but here he is, cooking his scrambled eggs. He cracked, mixed, seasoned and cooked them by himself and he was so proud!

Bless his heart. Funny, I just posted pics of Tink cooking too. I think most kids like to cook if they’re allowed to. Its fun to see their excitment.
He is really growing up. All of the time that you have invested in him is really paying of. You sound like you are really proud of him.
