We finally finished our House Wren notebook pages! We begin reading about the Old Orchard Bully (aka the House Sparrow) next week and start notebooking that one as well.
We had a few bumps with this and started over completely at one point. And as we were finishing this morning Super-boy gave me total attitude about the last page and started actually scribbling!! I was pretty steamed since we had put so much work in. I asked him if he was proud of the bird he just colored and he said “no.” Today has been rough all around. The only thing he wants to do today is play Lego Star Wars and I am about to pull my hair out. My golden day Wednesday seems so far away, but I know I have to take the good with the bad.

Everybody has those days when they don’t want to do what they need to. Hopefully he’ll be back on track Monday.
